This qualification is designed to give you a solid introduction to working in the sport and active leisure industry. You'll gain greater awareness of the industry and what you can do to succeed in employment, as well as an understanding of roles, responsibilities and how employment law affects you and others. This can form part of the Intermediate and Advanced Apprenticeships in Active Leisure and Learning. Achieving these qualifications gives you background knowledge that can be valuable in a number of roles, including: Playworker / Health and fitness instructor / Holiday centre worker - Manager / Horse riding centre manager / Leisure centre assistant - Manager / Sports coach.
